An exceptional meal enjoyed at this beautiful restaurant in Rennes. I highly recommend Coquille for the food, service and ambience. Our group of four enjoyed dinner on the terrace on this hot Saturday night. We tried to jambon and tuna starters followed by the fillet of beef, linguine with langoustines and linguine with asparagus. All the meals well beautifully presented, full of flavour and made use of seasonal produce. Dessert was a treat. We had strawberry served three ways and a chocolate and coconut dessert that was delicious.
Lovely touch when the chef brought out dessert and engaged with our daughter.

Three course dinner in a chef's restaurant: less than $38. A glass of exciting wine: $8. Three waiters who just wait to do their job: priceless. And no loud music: perfection.
Friendly people, and really excellent quality food. If you decide to visit, try the local food and wine recommended. It is of exceptional taste and quality.
Visited the restaurant this evening and selected the €38.50 set menu. Everything was superb......food, presentation, service and value for money. The atmosphere was great....quite buzzy but quiet enough to enable people to talk across the table. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.
Disappointing. When you pay a fairly expensive restaurant, you expect a little privacy and friendly waiters. This was not the case. You feel like you can talk to the people at the next table. They tried to fill up as much as possible inside, maybe to get a better profit, because you can't really take advantage of the moment. Too bad because the cook is really interesting.
